“These pictures are actually nice you know… I’m gonna show my nan and my teacher!” - S. aged 9.

Working with the young people of Triangle Adventure Playground I conducted a six week photography project culminating in a photozine and exhibition. I handed out twenty seven disposable cameras for the young people to use autonomously over the Easter holidays and concurrently ran a series of DSLR studio portrait workshops on site. Over 100 young people took part and created a strong archive of over one thousand images both analog and digital. After much deliberation the young photographers whittled down their selection to eighty six images from which we printed our photozine and held an exhibition. The project was supported by the Mayor of London Culture Seeds. Special thanks also to Eye Culture and ExWhyZed Printing.
